Hi and welcome to EWH Travels, thank you so much for taking the time to visit the website and for being curious enough to arrive at this blog post.

About me

I have worked full time in the NHS for the last 15 years, within my tenure I have managed multiple surgical services in children’s hospitals and been involved in high profile projects across London improving access to services for children.

Throughout my career, I have had lots of experience managing large and complex teams and have vast experience mentoring junior managers to success and onto more senior management roles.

I am a compassionate and driven leader, who strives watching my team grow and witnessing them meeting their personal and professional objectives.

I have had the amazing opportunity to volunteer for a fantastic children’s charity that provides crucial health care to children in Vietnam. As part of this opportunity, I helped organise trips, raised money to purchase medical equipment and provided operational support whilst in Vietnam to my clinical colleagues. Plus spend time with all of the amazing children we see and treat whilst we are there, absolutely heart warming.

As well as my experience in children’s healthcare, I have worked in various fields in the travel industry. Including as Premier Agent for a well known airline at London Heathrow and as a Travel Agent in a high street travel agency.

From a personal perspective, I love to cook for family and friends, I drink way too much coffee, I spend a lot of time in the gym and the spa and I also can’t sit still for long, especially if I have no trips booked!

Travelling is the thing that lights a fire within me, I love to experience new places and understand the cultures from across the world. I try to have at least one trip booked at one time and I have been known to fly out the day I’ve landed from another trip!
